Here we see a dumbass who took a corner too fast and didn't chain his load properly. I wasn't there when this happened, but I guarantee it was pretty damn loud when it did.

Hat tip to the lovely Rebecca for the picture!

Holy crap! Hope there's no body under the excavator. Would not like to be the driver responsible this.

I don't think there were any injuries. However, I think a certain someone will not be driving a dump truck for a while. Also this must have been so incredibly loud.

And that is why I tie even the smallest items down in my pickup. Proper load securement only takes a few minutes

That poor excavator. I mean I hate the things and theyre my least favorite equipment to work on, but it deserves better than that.

Yeah would have made a good thump. That oil looks like fun. I once came across an oil spill on a damp road, went back around a couple of times before the cops came and ruined the fun. Just did some nice slow speed drifting, it was relaxing.

I did not know you were a heavy equipment mechanic. That is cool. Hydraulic lines are fun...except when finding a leak.

Yeah, hydraulic lines are actually my main business. Excavators are really easy when it's just something out on the boom, which is never. Everything else is either under the cab or in the engine compartment. So you're either laying under it in the lake of fluid it spilled or up on top of it baking in the sun. I don't care for excavators, haha.

I really know nothing about hydrualics but thanks for sharing. I am learning bit by bit lol.

It's a pretty neat system. If you get electricity, you'll get fluid power...check out a hydraulic diagram, it looks almost exactly like an electrical system diagram.

It's just a little smashed up, it's still good! It's still good!

Uh oh. I definitely do not get electricity. Ah well, lots of time left to learn yet.

Hahaha. It's always good to learn. They're both infinitely less scary once you know how they work.

My favorite is the variable displacement hydraulic pumps. Pretty cool stuff in how they work.
